Declaration of the World March of Women: Stop the genocide, no to displacement in Palestine!
The Zionist occupation army launched a series of violent raids at dawn on Tuesday, targeting civilian homes throughout the Gaza Strip. This offensive is the first military escalation, breaking the ceasefire agreement that came into force on January 19, 2025. This intensification of bombing and widespread destruction is part of the genocide that “Israel” has been committing against the Palestinian people since October 7, 2023. In this latest attack alone, almost 430 Palestinians were killed, and many more were injured or trapped under the rubble; all this under the silence of the entire world, which is watching Israel continue its campaign of extermination against the Palestinian people.
The Palestinian resistance has demonstrated an irreproachable commitment to all the provisions of the ceasefire agreement and has worked to ensure its stability. However, the Israeli occupation has systematically shirked its obligations and extended its violations, with the political, military and financial support of the United States under President Donald Trump and other imperialist powers. Instead of respecting the terms of the agreement, Israel has intensified its attacks, seeking to crush Palestinian resistance through massacres and forced displacement. This is not just a humanitarian crisis – it’s genocide and ethnic cleansing
The current political plan to deport Palestinians from Gaza to other countries is an injustice that strikes at the heart of human dignity. The people of Gaza, who have lived for generations on the land of their ancestors, must not be forced to leave it, stripped of what remains of their homes, their heritage and their right to remain on the land that constitutes the essence of their identity. Since October 7, 2023, 1.9 million people have been forcibly displaced, living in cramped shelters, without water, food or heating, and in this context people are experiencing unprecedented levels of deprivation.
Even during the so-called “ceasefire”, Israel continued to kill Palestinians, denying them vital aid, which is considered a maneuver tantamount to forced starvation and a clear war crime against 2.3 million people trapped inside the Gaza Strip. The war machine operates with impunity, supported by the imperialist powers and global corporations that profit from the suffering of the Palestinian people.
Mr. Netanyahu’s government continues to delay the implementation of the second phase of the ceasefire, which includes essential provisions such as the total withdrawal of the occupying forces from Gaza, the release of the remaining Palestinian prisoners within 50 days, the reopening of border crossings and the immediate entry of humanitarian aid, given that 2 million Gazans have been threatened by famine since the start of the offensive and that 80% of Gaza’s inhabitants do not have access to sufficient drinking water resources. The destruction of agricultural land, which has reached unprecedented levels, is exacerbating the food catastrophe in the territory, as 63% of agricultural land has been damaged. Instead, the occupation is exerting pressure through relentless violence, in the hope of forcing the Palestinian resistance, which has resisted these brutal tactics, to make further concessions.
As feminists, we recognize that war, militarization and occupation have a disproportionate impact on women and marginalized communities. Palestinian women face the triple oppression of colonial violence, patriarchal control and economic devastation. They are at the forefront of resistance: caring for families under bombardment, surviving in impossible conditions and fighting for the liberation of their people. Our solidarity must be active and uncompromising.
The world must impose an unconditional and immediate cessation of Israeli attacks to prevent further military aggression and put an end to this genocide. At the same time, Gaza’s borders must be opened allow displaced persons to return home, and to open up the Gaza Strip, which is crumbling under a mountain of 42 million cubic meters of rubble, requiring the mobilization of 1.2 billion dollars and fourteen years of work to rebuild.
The peoples of the world have not remained silent, and neither will we. From feminist movements to trade unions, from peasant organizations to student groups, we call for a permanent mobilization in solidarity with the Palestinian people. We must step up actions to block arms shipments, disrupt trade, shut down complicit businesses and refuse to allow business as usual while genocide is underway.
We call on feminist and popular movements to :
- Organize a worldwide mass mobilization on March 30 – Land Day, the historic day of Palestinian resistance.
- Mobilize between March 30 and April 6 to reject the Zionist war machine and show unwavering solidarity with Palestine.
- Build networks of feminist, anti-imperialist and anti-colonial resistance, ensuring that Palestine remains at the heart of our struggles.
We know that our struggles are interconnected. The forces that profit from Israel’s genocidal war also fuel militarization, corporate greed and patriarchal violence worldwide. Our resistance is collective and our solidarity is international!
We March against War and Capitalism,
We Defend the Sovereignty of Peoples and the Buen Vivir!
