We stand in solidarity with the struggle of the Filipino people against widespread corruption in collusion with private contracting companies in the face of constant flooding and displacement of poor women and their families. Senators and congress representatives are involved in this massive corruption with their families flaunting lavish lifestyles similar to Nepal.
WMW-Philippines led the organizing of rallies with 80,000-100,000 in attendance. We are in solidarity with our sisters who rise against non-transparent and corrupted governance. Sobra na, Tama Na, Ikulong Na means “Enough, Stop, Jail the Corrupt!” We are in solidarity with all of our sisters in the Philippines, Indonesia, Nepal, West Saharawi, Kanaky, Palestine.
