

On 15 November 2025, the World March of Women NCB Nepal organized a Climate Justice and Food Sovereignty Solidarity March and Interaction Program in Chautara Sangachokgadhi Municipality–5, Sindhupalchok. The event was held in support of the People’s Summit towards COP30 in Brazil, echoing global demands for climate justice and systemic transformation. The program was conducted in coordination with the Federation of Community Forest Users Nepal (FECOFUN), Sindhupalchok. Participants included women representatives of community forest user groups, rural women farmers, local FECOFUN leaders, women activists from various sectors, and journalists, demonstrating broad community engagement and solidarity.


Speakers included Janak Raj Giri, Chairperson of FECOFUN Sindhupalchok; Dayalaxmi Shrestha, International Committee member of the World March of Women; and National Committee members Anjila Jha and Bimala Shrestha. They emphasized key political demands and global calls to action:
