Women’s Gathering for Climate Justice in Antalya, Türkiye I 13-15 November, 2026
The Türkiye National Coordination Body (NCB) of the World March of Women is organizing the Women’s Gathering for Climate Justice from 13 to 15 November 2026 at Aydın Kanza Park in Antalya, Türkiye. The gathering will bring together women from different territories to share their struggles, strengthen international solidarity, and build feminist alternatives to ecological destruction and exploitation.
Climate crisis is inseparable from capitalism, patriarchy, racism, and colonialism. The destruction of forests, the appropriation of land and water, extractivism and militarization threaten the conditions that sustain life. Women confront these realities while carrying an unequal share of the work needed to sustain communities, produce food and care for others.
Women are also organizing resistance and building alternatives. Their struggles to defend territories, protect common resources and sustain collective life will be at the heart of the gathering in Antalya. Through testimonies and participatory discussions, participants will connect local experiences with international struggles and explore possibilities for common action. The programme will be hosted by World March of Women in Antalya.
International Women’s Tribunal: Women’s Testimonies and the Demand for Justice
The programme will open on 13 November with an International Women’s Tribunal, bringing together testimonies from different territories from the world.
Women will share experiences of ecological destruction, dispossession and resistance, including the criminalization of struggles, local organizing in Antalya, and women’s ecological struggles across Türkiye.
The tribunal will place women’s knowledge and demands at the center, revealing the connections between violence against women, attacks on territories and the destruction of nature. It will be a space to bear witness, demand accountability and affirm women’s collective power to defend life.
Climate Justice, Feminist Economy and the Organization of Life
On 14 November, the discussion “Unite for Climate Justice, Build the Feminist Economy and Organize Life!” will exchange experiences and develop collective reflections in a participatory way.
The discussion will explore how feminist economy can guide our struggles for climate justice: recognizing and redistributing care work, defending common resources and organizing production and everyday life around collective needs and the sustainability of life.
That afternoon, a Pastoralist Women’s Gathering will bring experiences from Mongolia into dialogue with those of Sarıkeçili pastoralist women in Türkiye. This exchange will create a space to discuss women’s knowledge, livelihoods and struggles in pastoralist communities, and their relationships with land and nature.

From Local Resistance to Feminist Internationalism
On 15 November, the session “From Women Resisting in Türkiye to Grassroots Feminist Internationalism” will connect women’s resistance in Türkiye with the construction of international solidarity. It will explore how struggles rooted in different territories can strengthen one another and contribute to a shared feminist movement.
Across these exchanges, the gathering will affirm that climate justice requires women’s collective organizing and a transformation of the relations of power that shape our economies and societies.
We will gather in Antalya to defend our land, water, forests and future and to strengthen feminist alternatives that place the sustainability of life at the center.
