From 13 to 15 November 2026, women from different territories will come together at Aydın Kanza Park in Antalya, Türkiye, for the international Women’s Gathering for Climate Justice. Organized by the Türkiye National Coordination Body of the World March of Women, together with the Antalya Women’s Counseling and Solidarity Association, the gathering will bring together feminist movements, grassroots organizations and women resisting ecological destruction, militarization, colonialism and capitalist exploitation.
As the global climate crisis deepens, women across the world continue to organize against the systems that destroy territories, exploit labour, displace communities and threaten the conditions necessary to sustain life. Climate justice cannot be separated from the struggles against patriarchy, racism, colonialism, imperialism and capitalism.
The Women’s Gathering for Climate Justice will create an international space to make these struggles visible, exchange experiences of resistance and strengthen feminist alternatives rooted in solidarity, collective organization and the sustainability of life.
Over three days, the programme will bring together women’s testimonies, collective political discussions, experiences of feminist economic alternatives and grassroots organizing, culminating in a collective march for climate justice.

International Women’s Tribunal
The gathering will open with an International Women’s Tribunal, bringing together testimonies from women confronting ecological destruction, dispossession, war, occupation and the criminalization of resistance in different territories.
Through their testimonies, women will denounce the interconnected systems of violence and exploitation that threaten their communities and the sustainability of life. The Tribunal will provide a collective feminist space for making these injustices visible and affirming women’s demands for justice and accountability.
Unite for Climate Justice, Build the Feminist Economy and Organize Life!
This session will explore feminist economic alternatives to the capitalist system, bringing together experiences of collective organizing, solidarity economies and struggles to defend land, food sovereignty, care and the commons.
The discussion will focus on how women are building alternatives that challenge the logic of profit and accumulation, placing the reproduction and sustainability of life at the centre of economic and political transformation.
Pastoralist Women’s Gathering
Pastoralist women will come together to share their experiences, struggles and organizing practices in the face of climate change, land dispossession and threats to their livelihoods.
The gathering will highlight pastoralist women’s knowledge, their role in sustaining communities and ecosystems, and the importance of their collective organization in the struggle for climate justice and food sovereignty.
From Women Resisting in Türkiye to Grassroots Feminist Internationalism
This session will connect women’s struggles in Türkiye with broader international feminist organizing, exploring how local resistance can strengthen collective political action across borders.
Through experiences of grassroots mobilization, participants will reflect on the importance of feminist internationalism, solidarity between territories and building a common struggle against interconnected systems of oppression.
Grand Climate Justice March
The gathering will conclude with a collective march for climate justice, bringing together participants and allies to raise their voices against ecological destruction, exploitation and the commodification of life.
The march will reaffirm our collective commitment to building a world in which life, dignity and justice prevail over profit.
The Women’s Gathering for Climate Justice is more than a series of discussions. It is a space for strengthening international feminist solidarity, connecting struggles across territories and building collective alternatives to the capitalist, patriarchal and colonial systems driving the climate crisis.
We invite women, feminist movements, grassroots organizations and all those struggling for climate justice to join us in Antalya.
