Nyando/Nambokana Branch of the World March of Women Launched in Kenya

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Nyando/Nambokana branch of the World March of Women (WMW) in Kenya, with 101 enthusiastic participants from the sub-county coming together for this significant event.
In a remarkable day of solidarity, we engaged in deep discussions on power dynamics, explored the various forms of oppression present in the village, and brainstormed practical solutions that participants could implement to address these issues. A key highlight of the event was the collective realization of our role as political subjects and the importance of political formation, especially for women.
What made this experience even more impactful was that all the conversations and analyses were conducted in the local language, ensuring inclusivity and a stronger connection with the community.
Together, we continue to resist oppression and march to transform our society.
